The Tecno Camon 17 Pro has all the specifications of the perfect gaming device. Most importantly it has a gaming processor, a lot of RAM and even more storage space. A good gaming smartphone must load the players games as fast as possible.
Loading Time
With a Helio G95 processor which is a 2.0GHz octa core processor and 8GB RAM, games load very fast. For instance in my twitter video below, PUBG loaded fully in less than 48 seconds with a 5MB file download accounted as part of the game starting.

Sound & Display
A smartphone can have all the RAM and processor speeds in the world but without a good analog interface, then it is still useless. But I cant say that about the Tecno Camon 17 Pro. That is because it has a big 6.8 Inch (172mm) Full HD display with 1080X2640 screen resolution for clear gaming view.
The 90 Hertz screen refresh rate makes sure that we have smooth gameplay. The variable frame rate screen recording feature also means that the video outcome appears smooth to the viewer. That is why I made my gaming video above in 60 frames per second. That footage can be slowed down for much greater details.
Sound
As far as sound goes, the Camon 17 Pro has dual speakers for immersive stereo sound. The speakers are loud and have relatively good sound quality.
Internal Storage
Most Tecno smartphones in 2020 came with 128GB internal storage. The Tecno Camon 17 Pro is the first Tecno smartphone to come with 256GB internal storage. This is mote than enough for the users photos as well as installing big games.
For example look at how big the Call of Duty Android game is. All of that 2.69 GB will fit in the Camon 17 Pro without any problems.
Game Assistance
The Camon 17 Pro has all the sensors required for heavy and light gaming. For light gaming it has the accelerometer, orientation, and rotation sensors. For heavy games like PUBG and Call of Duty it has a gyroscope and a game rotation sensor.
Further game assistance is offered through HiOS powered by AI Engine. The AI engine accelerates the memory, boosts the CPU and GPU as well as accelerating the Network.
The AI Engine also offers services like opening a chrome window right inside the game. You can even open a WhatsApp window right inside the game and reply to chats without leaving the game too.
A do not disturb option is also available in the game smart panel which can reject all phone calls and messages during your gaming session.

Battery & Charging
With big specifications, a big battery capacity and faster charging times are required. The Camon 17 Pro does not disappoint in that aspect too. This is because it has a 5000mAh battery and a 25 Watt Fast charger. Charging is via a provided USB Type C cable.
In experiment below this was the charging timeline from zero charge. In less than 30 minutes the device was up to 40 percent battery charge.
