The Tecno Spark 8P is a 6.6 Inch/169mm Full HD+ display device with 4GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 50MP Triple rear camera and a side fingerprint scanner incorporated in the power button. Will it live up to the Tecno Spark 7P that was released in May 2021? Lets find out.
The first thing I noticed about the orange box is that it was unusually slim. I had initially thought that Tecno had gone the Apple way of not including chargers with their smartphones.

But I was wrong, there is indeed a compact charger included in the box as you will see in my unboxing video below. I had the chance to unbox the Tahiti Gold version of the Tecno Spark 7P.

From the left in the image above we have Turquoise Cyan, Iris Purple, Atlantic Blue and Tahiti Gold. The version I unboxed above is the Tahiti Gold version.
Tecno Spark 8P Specifications
The Tecno Spark 7P did not have a Full HD Screen but the new Spark 8P has a Full HD+ screen. The screen refresh ate is not labeled so I assume that it is 60Hz. This is low because the Spark 7P had a 90Hz refresh rate.

The price has not been released in Kenya officially but my biggest guess is around Ksh13,500. This is around USD120.

02/12/2021 The Spark 8P is retailing for KES18,499 for the 128GB version and KES16,599 for the 64GB version. My guesses were very far off in the previous paragraph.
