The Infinix Hot 10 continues the legacy of the Infinix Hot series by being the cheapest Infinix device. This time round the Hot 10 goes for only Ksh13,999. Being cheap does not mean that is has lower standard’s though.
The Infinix Hot 10 is powered by a Helio G70 gaming processor and also comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB ROM to ensure that you have enough storage. To add to that you get a big HD screen and a massive 5200mAh battery.
All these specifications make the Infinix Hot 10 suited for most applications. Whether you want a phone simply for social media browsing, a gaming smartphone or a video creator phone for a budget then the Infinix Hot 10 is for you.
The Hot 10 performs well when it comes to playing games. I have a full Infinix Hot 10 gaming video embedded below. The games I chose are PUBG and Call Of Duty. This is because they are online games and demand a lot of resources from the phone.
Its nice to say that the Hot 10 performed very well in my PUBG test. I didn’t record any lagging at all. Here are my PUBG graphic settings that were automatically assigned by the gam according to the processor, RAM and screen resolution.
At the end of the test I did a temperature check which revealed some heating. The highest temperature I recorded was 39.5 degrees centigrade. This was after playing the Call of Duty game continuously for around 45 minutes. The following image is of the Call of Duty graphic settings.
A quad camera setup with quad flash sits perfectly at the back of the Hot 10. The main camera is 16MP while the Macro camera is 2MP with the other 2 lenses being the AI lens and the Bokeh Camera.. This is the Hot 10’s charger.
This is the Infinix Smart Tv remote.
The following image using the macro lens. I usually struggle to get that screen side text in my unboxing videos. Here it can be seen perfectly. The Infinix Hot 10’s SIM tray.
The front Camera is a dot in screen 8MP camera with dual flash. This camera can take good selfies as well as videos. The wide angle selfie mode is also a nice feature in the Camera app. With this mode the subject can be in the middle with a lot more space and information on the left and right.
As far as video recordings go, the Hot 10 can record 1080p videos at 26 frames per second. The quad rear and dual front flash makes recording in low light a possibility.
Th XOS version 7.0 of the Hot 10 is based on Android 10 and a s such it has features like the smart panel and zero screen. The dark theme mode is well implemented and it can also help by prolonging the battery life.
Here is a video detailing the user interface.
To make sure that the 5200mAh battery juice can last a lot longer, the Infinix Hot 10 has the Power marathon app to help. This application shows the time remaining to deplete the battery as well as tools on how to increase the time.
The remaining time in the images below was increased from 8 hours to 10 hours simply by activating the power boost.

This smartphone is perfect for students, it doesn’t cost much and it has god specifications too.
